Launch of the Chunky FuelUp Tournament

Chunky, the ‘Official Soup Sponsor of the NFL’, is taking their soup into the digital realm with the launch of the Chunky FuelUp Tournament, an immersive experience for Fortnite Creative fans. As part of the NFL playoffs, the tournament brings football-themed challenges to test players’ speed, agility, and accuracy. In the Spicy Soup Sprint, participants will fly through Chunky cans and slide down a giant spoon to complete the course as quickly as possible. The Protein Power Course is an agility-based training course with tackling dummies and other football obstacles to overcome. Lastly, the Hearty Hail Mary challenge will require participants to throw as many cans into moving targets as quickly as possible within three rounds.

Marci Raible, Vice President of Integrated Marketing for Campbell’s Meals & Beverages, stated that the launch of the Chunky metaverse experience is a great step forward for the brand to bring together sports and culture. Leveraging their 25-year NFL partnership, this activation allows Chunky to reach out to the gaming community and offer a unique brand experience.By using the 12-digit island code in Fortnite Creative, gamers can access the Chunky FuelUp Tournament. Players are welcomed to the Chunky FuelUp Plaza and can explore the various sections of the ‘Chunky Bowl’ Stadium, including a tailgate and VIP area. This Fortnite Creative build was created in collaboration with Spark Foundry, Campbell’s media agency of record; Beyond Creative, a Fortnite Creative development studio; and features Fortnite Creative.
